Apparently our graphic designer can levitate
26 May 2003 4:43 pm
News for today: + Mike and Gulnara had a healthy baby boy on Saturday. The doctor had to do a C-section, but Gulnara is recovering nicely. Kir and I are extremely excited for them. + There are three days until my birthday. + Apparently our graphic designer can levitate. He demonstrated for Lilya. He has also lost about ten pounds, apparently because learning to levitate burns a lot of calories. + I have a miserable sinus headache, but that’s okay because I leave work in 26 minutes. + It rained both days this weekend. + Turkey won the Eurovision song contest and Kir and I have decided that we’re going to Turkey to see it next year. We’re hoping it’s in Istanbul and not Ankara. + I have not been to the gym for nearly a month, but am still losing weight due to my not eating white flour diet + The long-suffering driver is on a trip with Gulia today, so Lilya’s mother is our substitute driver. Gulia will not be happy about this, since she thinks only men should be drivers, but, luckily, the office is not a democracy. + We’re having trouble with Rani’s visa, but the worst case scenario has her based in Almaty this summer, and that’s not so bad. + The president of Turkmenistan did an interview with 60 minutes. It will be aired in September. + I am positive that our dog is getting cuter.
