Jerk, jerk, jerk.
11 June 2003 10:05 am
I am deep in the throes of buyer’s remorse. I spent $78 on makeup when I was in San Francisco. And not on lots of makeup. On foundation, powder, and a fancy brush. The brush alone was $29. At the time, it seemed like an okay idea. It’s about 6 months of foundation, and it was a formulation (powder) that I thought would be really good for life in a hot climate. But 78 dollars? What the hell was I thinking? I feel like a jerk. Jerk, jerk, jerk. Anyway. Back in Turkmenistan. Had eleven billion new email messages, and a computer virus to make everything more fun. It’s nice to be back in the office, though. I like my job, and I miss it when I’m away. Today I get to talk to a bunch of Peace Corps volunteers about health education.
