Well, here I am in sunny California. And it is sunny today, which is apprently unusual for the Bay Area lately. Today was an orgy of consumerism, got a good start on everything I need to buy.

As usual, I am free of jet-lag but feeling shy about the phone. I will force myself to call Ian, though, and Rani. I am because he's going to come visit, and Rani, because she's coming to Ashgabat. All summer. We finally got her visa.
